The wiki is being retired!

Documentation is now handled by the same processes we use for code: Add something to the Documentation/ directory in the coreboot repo, and it will be rendered to https://doc.coreboot.org/. Contributions welcome!

You might see the term "libreboot" used on the coreboot wiki.

In coreboot context, "libreboot" is taken to mean a coreboot ROM image compiled without any proprietary blobs, where the machine can run without having any installed. This also means no ME/AMT, or no extra blobs that have to be added to the ROM after building.

Otherwise, look at the libreboot project at libreboot.
