I'm currently working for Sun Microsystems on our HPC stack for Linux.

Initially, my goal is to get flashrom tested (and submit patches if needed) on as much Sun hardware as possible, and find an automated way to read and write CMOS settings.

Longer term, I'd like to see Coreboot shipping on Sun HPC systems, but that's probably not a realistic goal since most people think spending several minutes to boot is "normal."
